AIM members, Deans and academic leaders from around the world will discuss and debate how pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences educational institutions are transforming their programmes towards achieving better health outcomes. The discussions and debate during this one and half day Forum will focus on areas of critical importance in the role of pharmacy educational institutions, focussing on educating the pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences workforce of the future. The programming for the 2016 AIM Deans Forum is based on input from attendees of the 2015 AIM Deans Forum in Dusseldorf.

Part III – International collaborations  

This session will focus on developing ideas and sharing programmes that link deans from different institutions and regions of the world to foster joint learning opportunities. Successful implementation of collaborations from around the world will provide varying approaches to teaching and to practice.

Part IV – Strategic Planning for the Future

In this small session, an hour will be allocated to discuss future plans for the AIM Forum and possible projects across the FIP Education Initiative and Boards. The objective of this session is to reflect what has worked in the past and what we would like to see addressed in the Dean’s Forum.
