FIP Congress Scholarships

Every year, the FIP Foundation awards a number of FIP Congress Scholarships to enable pharmacists or pharmaceutical scientists to travel to the FIP congress. The objective of awarding Congress Scholarships is to permit the recipient to travel to the FIP congress in order to develop, or to help others to develop, skills and/or knowledge in line with the objectives of the Foundation.

 

Applicants to the Congress Scholarship should refer to guidelines and complete the application form (both can be downloaded at www.fipfoundation.org) and return it to the Foundation. The application is open every year from 1st October until 31st January.

 

The submission date of applications for this scholarship passed on 31 January 2016. It is no longer possible to submit applications in relation to the FIP Congress in Buenos Aires.

 

Ton Hoek Scholarship for Global Leadership

 

The FIP Foundation award a scholarship to assist young pharmacists or pharmaceutical scientists in traveling to the FIP Congress. The objective of awarding the Ton Hoek Scholarship for Global Leadership is to permit the recipient to travel to the FIP Congress in order to develop, or to help others to develop, skills and/or knowledge in line with the objectives of the Foundation.

 

Through participation in the FIP Congress, the honored student/recipient will learn firsthand of global health issues. The individual will be encouraged to participate in the FIP Congress networking opportunities, presentations, poster sessions and report submissions. Results of this international experience, with the knowledge and relationships developed, will advance the career of participating individuals and further their relationship with FIP. This award is named after the FIP CEO Ton Hoek (1955-2012)
